Feel stronger with Chromagen®

The Chromagen® family of prescription oral iron supplements
offer patients who are iron deficient an improved option
versus older iron treatment options.
Chromagen® is formulated with a new iron source that offers
the following advantages:

Ferrous sulfate is a common supplement recommended for individuals
with iron deficiency. Ferrous sulfate has a much lower iron absorption
range 2%-26.4% (10,11) than the iron source in Chromagen®
47%-90%. (8,11)

What does that mean for the patient who needs iron? If you have less
absorption from your iron supplement, you will have to take more which
may lead to an increased risk for gastrointestinal (GI) upset and other
negative side effects that are often associated with iron supplements.
Iron deficiency anemia is the most common form of nutritional deficiency
— affecting at least 3.4 million Americans. (20)
